Training Video for Firefighters Uses Tesla Electric Car
Jul 30
There is a pretty good training video for firefighters, using the Tesla Model S to demonstrate how to use the jaws-of-life hydraulic rescue tool to assist in getting people out of the car after an emergency crash. Understanding the various electrical components of an EV (electric vehicle) is critical, because a firefighter needs to be aware of potential dangers that are in the EVs as compared to a regular automobile. Operational considerations include the high voltage components as well as overall construction differences.

My Uncle bought a Tesla and he absolutely loves it. He told me that the dealer has treated him better than any other dealer of any other car he has ever bought. The car itself has been a dream for him. When I rode in it with him, it took me a while to get used to no noise, but the interior was so nice, it actually made the ride so much more enjoyable. There should be more car manufacturers that do things like this, it pays off in the long run. Will be sharing this info with my Uncle.

They struggled for a long time trying to get their EV on the market, but that’s because they were visionary thinkers and a bit ahead of the times. It was worth sticking it out, because now they are top dog in the EV market. This is a great way for them to give back. It will pay off in the future, because you know those firefighters, their families and everyone that is associated with the rescue video will remember that it was Tesla that helped them.
